Fallen Angel

Iris stared down at the cell phone for a moment before going back to eating. she watched him leave and finished off her coffee before pocketing the cell phone. Looking around she smiled slightly and cleaned up washing the plates and cups before siting down on the sofa and watching a bit of t.

Two hours, it had been two hours and the client still hadn't shown. He rang Iris up.

Listen I'm on my way.


You the dark to the light.

Tohr scowled.

Looks like I will be a little later than planned little one. Stay put ok?

He didn't wait for her to answer, merely hung up and turned to the client.

Iris Scowled hangning up the phone she stood up and walked over to the door. Locked damn it. There was no way she was going to stay stuck in here. She was alread an hour late for work. She looked at the door again and kicked it suddenly she concentrated really hard and the door just swung openin. She smiled to her self. Maybe she was a witch, Grabbing her phone and her bag she closed the door behind her and headeddown for work. Stay put Hah.

4 hours for nothing, Tohr thought. The angel merely had wanted to locate a department store where he thinks he left his wallet. Heading back to the flat, he noticed the door.

Son of a ...

He grabbed his keys, jumped in the escalade and headed for the coffee shop. The little one needed to be taught a lesson.

Iris Sighed she felt so much better being around people and serving coffee she felt happier like nothing had changed. The customers were happy and she had recieved plenty of tips already. that was fine by her.All the more easier for her to get an apartment. She did feel sort of bad for not listening to Tohr. But she didn't doo well with being told what to do. She'd rather do it of her own free will. Pouring another cup of coffe for a customer she smiled looking up at the clock. Her lunch break was soon.

Liam entered the coffee shop and smiled. There she was, without the angel. SMiling he sat down and waited for her to come to him. He had plans.

Tohr snarled as he sat in traffic. Paking the escalade he decided to head out to the coffee shop on foot. Fear clutched at his hear. What is she was hurt? Dead? What if Liam came back for her or another immortal.

Iris was distracted she hummed to her self while serving the coffee. Walking over to another table she smled at the customerwhile glancing out side. It was shocking how it could be so sunny after the storm yesterday.. "Coffee Mis-" she began and frownedlooking down at who it was.It was the stupid warlock she turned to leave.

Liam smiled up at her. "Hello Iris. You will leave here with me if you value your friends and the people in this shop you will come with me."

Tohr entered the coffee shop and all eyes turned to him. He spotted her and..

Liam.

It came out as a low hiss. He would do nothig here, not wanting to let the humans know about him.

Iris bit her lip. Suddenly she heard something. But it wasn't outloud she heard someones thoughts. Tohrs. Her powers were coming through slightly. She looked up at him. He couldn't do anything here because of the humans. Well Then she'd just get Liam out of here. Looking up at him she gave him a look that let him know she had a plan up her sleeve. Then looked over at Liam nodding. "I'll go. Just don't hurt anyone." she said.

Tohr backed out the door praying she knew what she was doing. Heading into a nearby alley, he waited. He had to get her away from Liam and fast.

Liam smiled. "Good girl." He took her by the arm and led her out the door.

Iris scowled And pulled away from him. "Don't Man handle me." she hissed at him glaring.

Stepping from the shadows, Tohr grabbed Iris and put her behind him. Unfurling his wings to keep her hidden.

Liam snarled. "This is not your fight fallen."

Like hell it ain't. She doesn't want to go with you.

Liam shook his head and mumbled something.

Tohr screamed out as pain ripped into him and he felt his side warm with blood.

"Tohr." she shouted running up tohim. His side. Blood. But Liam hadn't touched him. Her head shot up to glare at Liam. "What did you do to him." she snarled.

Liam grinned and mumbled again.

Tohr cried out louder. The pain he was going to pass out from it. Summoning the wind, Tohr made it so visibility was barely there and managed to drag Iris away. Eventually getting to the escalade, he handed her the keys.

Little one you must drive back to the flat.

His side of his shirt was soaked with blood and the pain was becomming unbareable.

Iris Scowled. "Get in the car Right now." she said. Not taking the keys from him till he did. "Or Let me help you in the car." she said. She could still slowly feel her powers coming back. From behind liam was coming up. Mumbling something she didn't even knowa light shot out her her slamming liam back. "Tohr i mean it get in the car."

Mustering his strength, Tohr climbed in and laid his head back. What the hell had Liam done to him? He watched her climb in.

I trust you little one.

It was the last thing he said before blackness engulfed him.

Iris looked back at him and felt her heart sink. He had trusted her and she'd left. And gotton him hurt and he still trusted her. Before liam could get up and come after them She Pressed down on the Gas pedal and Drove off. she couldn't get him to a hospital. As she reached his apartments she cursed. He was on the top floor penthouse suit. Climbin out the car she grabbed tohr and slowly but surely dragged his dead weight to the elevator and got up to the penthouse suit. Dragging him in she laid him on the sofa under a bunch of towel and locked the door. before heading to the bathrrom to get all the First aid stuff.

Tohr could hear her, her heartbeat in the darkness. He focused on it, using it as a guide to get back to her and her alone. Opening his eyes, he realized they were back at the penthouse. He could hear her in the bathroom. SLowly Tohr sat up and took off his shirt. There was a deep gash in his side.

Iris came back and scowled whenshe saw him sitting up. "Lay down Torh otherwise it iwll only hurt worse." she said walking over to him she looked at the gash. How had Liam done it ? He wasn't anywhere near him. CLeaning up the blood she Put some cream on it and wrapped a load of bandages around his Waist making sure they would hold the pad and be neough so the blood wouldn't leak. Though the cream should stop that.

No, I need to make sure you are ok.

He grabbed her and pulled her onto his lap. His big hands touching everywhere, trying praying she had not been hurt.

Iris watched him for a second before taking his hands "Tohr I'm fine." She said trying to relax him. Gently she climbed of his lap and laid him down. "Just please lay down and relax. I'll bejust here." she said smiling as she sat down opposite him on the small coffee table. She let go of his hands and watched him.

Eventually exhaustion won and Tohr fell asleep. She was there in his dreams. A soothing presence. Rarely did he dream any more and when he did they were more nightmares then dreams.

Iris sat on the table watching him she covered him over with the blanket again and went to change. She felt so bad that she'd Not listened to him and gone to work with out him. He'd trusted her to be carefull and look after herself and she'd gone and gotton him hurt. Maybe she should start to listen to him She Came back in a pair of jeans a top with her waist coat and Hat still. She sat back down at the table and watched him still.

He murmured her name in his sleep and smiled. In his dream she was with him. Her and him..it seemed natural. As if his life, his job, nothing mattered but her. Yet deep inside he could feel something sinister, something demanding him to turn her over to Liam. He woke, bolting up on the couch.

Iris was staring out side when he woke. She was starting to get confused. Why had he kept her and looked after her Maybe she hsould ask him when he woke. Sighing she watched as the rain clouds covered the sun and it started to rain. Again. She was oblivious to the factthat he'd woken up.
