Tohr grinned and practically inhaled his food. The lights flickered again and the thunder shook the house.

Going to be a bad night.

Standing, he put his plate in the sink.

I have something that just popped up that I need to take care of.

Grinng, he winked at her and headed out of the kitchen. Damn he hoped she noticed what popped up.

Iris frowned watching him leave. She shrugged confused and finished eating her dinner staring outside at the storm. It was pretty late already. And tomorrow she had work. She probalby go finish off a couple of things on the laptop watch Tv then curl up in bed with a book. She wondered where torh had disapeared.

First he had worked out in the gym fora 1/2 hour before going to take a nice long shower. Once out he climbed onto his bed smiling. Yeah she would be real nice in his bed. Maybe a little hell cat. Sighing he closed his eyes, hoping to get some sleep tonight.

Iris Had just finished watching Tv and headed to bed with a book. Still in her flannel pajamas she curled in bed with full intent to read but soon fell asleep. The light began to flicker again and the ouse shook. LAter on in the night There was another Shake of the house and the power went of every. It was dark and pitch black. Wakin up immediatly she letou t a scream and ooked around taking a deep breath she tried to calm her self. She didn't want to be alone in the dark. Climbing out of bed she started making her way oer to Tohr's bedroom. but it was hard to find because it was so dark.

Tohr had heard her scream and jumped off the bed, throwing open his bedroom door he ran into the hallway to find her. The lights were out.

Shit.

He realized he had no clothes on but her screams were enough for him not to give a damn.

Iris kept her eyes closed shut and kept breathing deeply trying not to have a panic attack. Finding the door she opened it and walked through it but bumped into somethig. Not a wall. opening her eyes she looked up and could just about see his diamond eyes. Gripping onto him she closed her eyes and nuzzled her head into his neck. "Its Dark." she mummbled.

Tohr bit back a moan. What to do he thought, what to do. SIghing he spoke.

Come to my bedroom little one..at least until the lights come back on. I think I have some candles in there somewhere.

Gently he began to guide her back to his room.

Iris Nodded and followed him into his room. She didn't like the dark. Not one bit she didn't know why though.It was one of those things she always hated and always witll. Damn Why did the power hae to go out.

Guiding her to the bed, he sat her down and went to look in a nearby desk for some candles. Finding one, he lit it and turned to her. The light threw shadows on his body and there would be no mistaking the fact that he was naked or that he desired a woman at that moment.

Is that better little one?

Iris Opened an eyes then looked around letting out a sigh off relief nodding. "Much. Thank you." she said smiling she looked at him and bit back a moan. He as Naked. And.. Happy. Very Happy. "I'm sorry i Disturbed you sleeping. You haven't had much luck with sleep lately. I'll Urm.." she couldn't help but glance down every now and them. "I'll tak a candle so you can go back to sleep." she said.

Tohr shook his head.

It's ok and stay in here tonight. My bed is big enough. King size.

He noticed her eyes and put the candle down on the nightstand and headed to a dresser. Grabbing a pair of boxers he slipped them on with his back to her.

Iris pouted but Stared at his backside instead smiling. "are you sure ?" She asked leaning back on the bed slightly. She hadn't been in bed with a male in Ages. The last time.. Well That was a nightmare she'd rather not speak about. He was the reason she was so carefull now.

Tohr turned to her.

Yeah. Candle will eventually go out and then what.

Smiling, he climbed onto the bed and laid on his back next to her. It was still evident he was excited but he ignored it.

Sleep little one.

Thunder boomed and the flat shook.

Laying down she turned on her sighed her back to him as well she smiled. "Thank you Tohr." she said and soon fell asleep.

Tohr rolled over in his sleep the next morning and pulled the body he felt in his bed next to him. Half awake, half asleep, he just basked there in the warmth of another. It had been eons since he had had a woman and none had ever been in his bed.

Iris came awake to somethingagainst her. Turning over she gasped and fell out the bed as she scuttled backwards slightly out of shock. "Shit." She said banging her head slightly she stood up. Well that was an interessting wakeup call.

Instantly he was awake and at her side.

You ok little one?

What they hell was that about he wondered. He held out a hand to her.

Iris Just nodded. And Kept Nodding not knowing what else to do. "Urm Yea. Yea Everythings Great."She smiled taking his hand. At least she'd stopped nodding. Looking at the clock she cursed she only had two hours to dress and eat and shower and get down to the coffee shop. "I Gotta go grab a shower before i go to work." she said heading into her room with out another word and going for a shower.

Tohr scowled. Never had a woman not reacted to him. Odd he thought. Tkaing a shower himself, he was dressed and in the ktichen making coffee and eggs for breakfast.

Iris came back out of her shower and dressed in a black skirt white blouse and her black waistcoat with her hair done up and in her little black hat. heading to the kitchen she smiled. "Thats better" she smiled and smelt the coffee Brewing. "Mmm You could get a job down at the coffee shop" she grinneds siting down.

Tohr gave her a droll look as his cell rang. Answering it, he spoke in clipped words before hanging up the phone.

Change in plans little one. I have a job I must perform and you shall remain here until I come back.

Iris Scowled. She wanted to tell him were to stick it. She had to go to work today otherwise she'd lose her job and there aint no way they'd believe her if she told them she had a bunch of warlocks chasing hr to use her a brooding mare. "How long will you be ?" she asked in a strained voice.

Tohr put some eggs on her plate and then poured her some coffee.

I am merely meeting with a potential client. 1-2 hours tops.

Iris sighed. "Thanks." she said taking a bite of her eggs. "Thats Not too bad , I can just go in late then.2 she said munching on her eggs.

Eating his eggs, he put the plate on the counter and pulled out a cell phone from a nearby drawer.

Drinking some coffee, he put it down in front of her.

With that he left her in the kitchen heading out the door to meet with the client.
