Victoria smiled and sat down watching serina. "Are you ok ? He is all right. Truly." she said tinking Serina was just really worred about Aiden.

"It's not that. I know he will be alright. I'm just worried. See while he was gone, I found a law that states he must marry to keep ruling us and I need to find his bride. He will not be amused."

Victoria frowned. "Oh dear. when are you going to tell him ?" she asked.

SHe sighed and placed a bowl before Victoria. "Tomorrow I think. I need him to rest. But who do I pick and how?"

VIctoria smiled taking the bowl. "Thank you .. Well how about someone he's close to that would understand abouthim not wantng to be married for love.. someone who would do this for him. Surely there are loads of females in the village that would be willing would they not ?" she said starting to eat.

Serina shook her head. "They want the title that goes with it and his wealth. Our people can be greedy. It's their nature."

Victoria sighed that was true and she knew it to well. "Well then he needs to fall in love with someone. and soon." she said.

Serina sighed. "That will never happen. He's closed off his heart after what she did."

Victoria bit her lip "What are you going to do ?" she asked while she thought. She was attracted to aiden. But like serina had said he'd closed his heart off.

"I dont know. I mean if he won't marry, there will be war among my people for the throne."

"Shall i go talk to him ?" she asked finishing her bowl. "I can also take some of thisup for him. Its delisous." she smiled.

Serina sighed. "If you want to. I have to figure something out. Please don't tell him."

Victoria Nodded taking a bowl . She smiled at serina resting a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry you'll figure something. I'll leave it to you to tell him. " she smiled before turning and heading upstairs. Finding him still aslee she walked over to him. "Aiden ? Theres something here for you to eat." she said quietly.

He woke slowly and looked at her. "I'm not hungry,"he said.

"Please aiden eat, you haven't eaten much , You need to eat. For me , For your sister , For keress , For your people please eat." she said looking at him worriedly, She didn't want him to be ill.

Aidan sat slowly and took the bowl. The blanket slipped down around his waist, showing his sculpted body.

Victoria smiled and watched him eat. "thank you." she had to bit her lip to stop looking at his beautiful body.

Aidan ate slowly. His whole body ached and all he could think og was laying in his bed with her in his arms.

Victoria ran her hand through his hair before standing up, "You rest for the rest of the day and don't worry about anything , serina and a couple of your men are on it." she smiled leaning down she kissed his forehead gently before blushing and turning away to leave.

Aidan blinked, confused by what she did. He finished eating and fell back asleep.

Victoria woke the next morning and dressed before heading off to see Aiden.

Aidan was arguing with Serina. "I will not marry!." Serina rolled her eyes. "Aidan you must!"

Victoria came and found them by their voice. "So you told him then." she said sitting down.

Aidan glared at Serina. "It will not happen Serina. Not ever again." Glaring, Aidan stormed out of the room and headed for the widow's walk.

Victoria sighed at serina. "Do you want me to go try talking to him ?" he asked watching him leave. Poor aiden for not being able to trust anyone.
