Troublesome victoria Ran Down the stairs Skidding to a hault infront of one of the butlers. "Sorry fredrick" she shouted as she turned and ran off in another direction. Being princess she was expected to be an adiquete Lady. Yea Right. That wasn't going to hhappen. It was just her and her father and her cat bynx. Her father hated her. It was obvious. AAn her mother had died when she was young. Sometimes she wished her mother hadn't been so Selfish to leave her with her father. He didn't act like a father. He was strict and commanding And horrible to her.

Sighing she turned another corner and headed int othe Great hall where her father was and turned To leave before he spotted her.

"Victoria!" Her father bellowed her name. The little bitch was going to be his saving grace finally. He hated her mother. Having been forced into the match by her father when it was found out he had had sex with her. Scowling, he motioned for two guards to bring his wayward daughter to him.

Victoria Jumped and cursed to her self quietly. Too Late obviously. She turned back to him glaring at the gaurds she walked over to her father the gaurds behind her." Ass holes."She muttered quietly. "What is it father ?" she asked.

He smiled at her evily, coldly. "Pack a small bag..you are leaving as soon as possible. You are to be married when you reach the home of Dante." The demon needed no last name. All knew him. Her father smiled. This was too good to be true. Rid of his daughter and the demon at the same time.

Victoria back away from him shaking her head she bumped into the gaurds. Dante ? NO she wouldn't. "What ? Why .. I won't You cannot make me." she said panicaning. She couldn't be married to dante. She felt her heart stop at the thought of it. God damn this was just a way to get rid of her. She turned to try and leave. She couldn't COULDN'T.

Her father snapped his fingers and the guards grabbed her. "I will have a maid pack some things. I am sure he will provide you with whatever you need other wise. A carriage awaits outside. Take her there and make sure she stays. Follow til she is safely in his arms." The guards began to drag her away.

Victoria Screamed and kicked her self away from thm. in his Arms. The thought made her sick. She Ran away from the guards. "I Won't" She shouted running up towards her room she slammed the door closed and locked it.

THe guards knocked it down and smiled. The grabbed her and dragged her kicking and screaming into the carriage and lock her in. There were tiny windows that she would not be able to get out but would provide her with air.

Victoria scowled and kicked at the door again and again. She sat down and sighed. Opening her bag she saw Bynx her cat. Well at least that was something she held the cat close to her crying. Damn her father. DAMN HIM.

The carriage began to roll, carrying her through the forest toward Dante's home. The guards made lewd comments about what would happen to her when they got there.

Aidan was doing some hunting when he heard the carriage approached. His curiosity piqued, he headed to see what was going on. Rumors had been flying about a princess being given to his cousin, Dante. That was not a good thing. Dante would use her until she bore him a son and then he would kill her.

Victoria cringed at their words She feared going to this dante. It sounded like a death wish. Why would her father do this to her. She kicked at the door again. She had to get out.

Aidan spied the carriage and knew the rumors were true. "Fuck,"he hissed. Grabbing his bow, he systematically took out all the guards and then the driver. Waving his hands the carriage stopped. Walking to it, he unlocked the door and opened it.

Victoria looked up she had curled up against the other wall. She pushed her self futher against the wall seeing him. "Please. Please don't hurt me." She said shaking out of fear. she though she had arrived at this male ,Could be dante. She pulled bynx closer to her.

He looked from the human female to the cat. "Why the hell would I want to hurt you? You are the one who was traveling to Dante's kingdom were you not?"

Victoria nodded. "I-I am.. ARe you not him ?" she asked relaxing slightly. She didn't relax fully because he could still be one of Dante soilders. Or even himself. if he got too close she would fight her way out of it and run. Where ? She had no idea .. she certinally couldn't run back to her father. He'd just find some other way to rid her of him.

He sighed. "Thankfully not. Though he in a realtion to me. My name is Aidan. I...am a demon...a good one though. I have my own kingdom. You can come there if you want until you figure out what to do." He held out his hand to her.

Victoria bit her lip hesitating. If he was related to dante how could she know he would send her of to him. Even if he said he was a good demon. There was only one way to ind out. Reaching out shee took his hand grabbing her bag and keeping hold of Bynx at the same time she stood up and stepped out of the carrige looking around. They were in marsh lands not far off a forest. "I'm Victoria." she said.

"Victoria. My kingdom is not too far from here. You can come with me..or out on your own. Just on your own Dante will get to you. I can protect you for the time being until you figure out what you wish to do."

"And you won't turn me over to dante ?" she said hesitatly biting down on her lip drawing blood.

Aidan sighed. "No, I have no reason to at all. My cousin and I have a long standing feud that has been ongoing for over 200 years. Why would I turn you over to you enemy. Now I know he will be expecting you by night fall so make your choice quickly Victoria."

Victoria decieded to risk it and stepped closer to you. "I'm trusting you , please don't be like others." she said looking up at him with her pale blue eyes. She was so scared. Never before had her father done anything this bad.

Aidan nodded. "Very well...follow me then." Putting his bow on his back, he began to head back through the marsh and into the woods. His people would accept her. Of that he had no doubt. Yeah they were demons but good one..kinder than Dante and his followers.

Victoria bit her lip holding close to her bag and Bynx she followed him. It was Starting to get dark. Which made her that little bit more edgy.

They stopped when they reached the mouth of a cave. "My kingdom it just down the corridor that is just inside the entrance. We live inside the mountain. Since it is so big and no one has ever climbed it they are unaware that there is no top. So therefore not a mountain really. You will be safe here. Dante has no clue where we are."

Victoria peered through the entrance of the cave. It was dark down there. She looked up at him. "Thank you Aiden" she said biting her lip as she followed him in.
