Hidden Agenda

"To some there is. Work is my life. Has been and always will be. I didn't get from the slums to this by relaxing lass." He glared at her. Liam had one hell of a work ethic thanks to his Irish parents.

Roxy Rolled her eyes and stood up walking over to him nd stroked his leg gently she shrugged. "Fine , Your going to work your self to the grave before your 30" she said.

Liam looked down at her hand on his leg then to her. "And if I do lass? What concern is it of you?" Hell not even his ex really cared about his health. No one had but his mother.

Roxy looked at him for a minute before letting out a sigh she felt sorry for the male. "More people than your mum care about you liam you need to let people into your life. Everyone will always have a few crap relationships." she shrugged before moving her hand away and standing at the door.

He stared at her. "How the hell did ye do that lass? Don't toy with me!" He stood and slammed his fists on the desk. "Do no be telling me it's magic. Magic is a bunch of malarkey, stories to entertain children with nothing more."

Roxy Raised a brow at him. "Is it Really ? Well how else did i know Liam Cooley ? How else do i know about your ex Fiance that wants and wants and wants and still isn't satisfied ?" she asked. The thing with demons was they had all sorts of powers.

"Tis nothing more than a dream. That is how. You know me cause you are nothing more than figment of my imagination...all my stress converged into a pleasing image!"

Roxy smirked. Pleasing image. Well .. she's been called plenty of things before but not that. She stalked over to him and rubbed up against him smiling. "But you Feel me. Have you ever had a dream so Vivid ? So Recurring ? Or is this a first ?" she asked.

He hissed and moved away from her when she began to rub against him. "That is not your business lass." Damn this was too real for his tastes and he headed for the door to get away from her.

Roxy Smirked stepping out of his way as he reached the door it slammed shut. She smiled as he turned to face her. "This is your dream Liam all your hallucintation why aren't you leaving if you want to ?" she asked.

He turned and glared at her. "I have had enough of these games lass." He had grown up hearing the stories of those like her...but they were just stories.

"Well Leave then liam. This is your Dream." she smiled.

"Maybe inside I don't want to and that is why the door won't open." His grandmother's words came back to him then. "You are special Liam boy. When you turn 27 you shall see. All the magic will be yours." Was this part of it, was she part of it. His 27th bday was 3 days away.

Roxy was listening inside his head. This was him. And she had three days. Three days to seduce him. Well that would be a challenge. She looked at him and shrugged. "But you've had enough of these games. You want out. I know you do liam."

"I have no clue what you are talking about lass. What games?"

"These games." she said snappng her fingers letting the door slam open with a gust of wind blowing the papers everywhere around him.

Liam didn't move but merely glared at her. "I know not what they hell ye are lass but I am not amused."

Roxy rolled her eyes. "Blah blah blah. Tell you what when your in a better mood call me." she grinned handing him a card with her number on it. She'd be back in his dreams one more time before she showed her face in real life. She just had to work out how.

He looked at the card briefly before throwing it in the garbage. Sitting back down in his office chair, Liam merely stared ahead, wondering what the hell was going on.

Roxy smirked and disapeared from his dreams laying back on the bed to fall asleep.

It was a crappy Saturday afternoon and Liam was in his den, trying to get through some last minute changes in a case one of the firm's big wigs were working on. As the low man on the totem pole it was up to him to help them so they could have some time with their family on Saturday.

Roxy was back at her desk. Email After email She'd Recieved from her boss nagging on to her about finding the male and how long its guna take her. She had everything planned. One more Visit in his dreams tonight. One last plead to see how close she could get him before tomorrow when she'd arrive at his work where he would no doubt be working over time.

Liam sighed as he finally finished up the last of the shit he had to fix. Getting up, he went to his room, grabbed some sweat pants and a shirt and headed to take a nice long shower before getting something to eat and heading to bed.

Roxy waited for a bit before dressing into a short skirt and reveling top with high heels before knocking at his office door in his dream.

He was in his office, wearing his favorite court suit when he heard the knock. Liam looked up at the door. "Enter." Man what the hell was going on. His office was spotless, everything filed and straightened up.
