Howling At The Moon

kyle finished off in the office and headed down stairs passing some of the ranch hands he told them what needed to be done today after the Strom last night then headed to find riona she wasn't in her room. Heading into the kitchen he saw snow and smiled. "Morning." He said.

Snow smiled. "Morning, how are you? Breakfast is almost ready. You may wanna tell Riona."

Riona wandered Kyle's ranch quietly. It was cold and she had no jacket on but didn't care. Maybe he doens't feel for me as I do him, she thought.

Black Hawk had been busy feeding the horses when Jasper approached. He knew him and wasn't amused he was here. "You are not welcomed here white man."

Jasper sighed. "Yeah even if I tell you Snow's in trouble?"

"I'm well thank you. I can smell it. It smells delicous. I'll go find her now." He said kissing her forehead gently. Kyle left and went to look for Riona. Seeing her outside he pulled off his jacket wrapping it around her. "What are you doing out here ? Its freezing."he said.

Snow sighed. He would never be hers.

Riona jumped slightly, she hadn't heard him coming. "I..I just wanted to take a walk."

Black Hawk snarled. "Tell me."

Jasper grinned and told him everything.

"With out a coat. Baby yu would of froze." he sighed pulling her close wrapping his arms around her.

Slightly confused, Riona said nothing, merely relaxed against him.

Black Hawk glared. "Kyle will pay for what he has done to my sister. I will see to it."

Jasper grinned.

Kyle smiled and kissed her forehead gently. "Breakfast is nearly ready come lets go inside and eat. THen i'll take your for a walk if you like." he smiled.

Still slightly confused, Riona nodded and headed back into the house with him.

Snow was placing the food on the table and smiled when they came back in.

Black Hawk headed out on his horse to see his sister.

Kyle smiled. "It smells amazing snow. You always were the best cook i knew. When ever i ttried to cook i messed it all up." He laughed ass he sat down.

Riona said nothing just sat down quietly next to Kyle as the ranch hands came in and sat down. She noticed Jasper wasn't there but still said nothing.

Snow smiled, stitting down on the other side of Kyle. "Thank you."

Black Hawk stopped his horse and tied the reings to the hitching post outside Kyle's house. Going up the steps, he knocked on the door.

Kyle took a bite of His Breakfast when someone knocked on his door. Frowning he stood. "i'll get it." going to the front door he oeened it smiling. "Black hawk. To what do i owe this plesure ?" he asked.

Snow looked over at Riona. There was no way to tell if the other female had spent any time in Kyle's arms.

Riona could tell Snow was looking at her and felt uncomfortable. Finishing her meal quickly, she headed into the kitchen and put the plate in the diswasher and headed up to her room.

Black Hawk glared at Kyle. "You have been stringing my sister SNow Bird along for too long. I have heard it all. She loves you, gave herself to you and you bring your mistress here to live under the same roof as the woman you wish to marry."

Kyle sighed and stood outside with him closing the door. "Hawk listen to me. you have it all wrong. snow knows that everything that went on between us was just that. I didn't want be with with her because i see her as a sister not a lover. And as for bringing in my mistress. She is no such thing. She got harmed and i looked after her and i believe she is my mate. There is nothing i can do about that but i love her. Now i didn't have to explain this too you yet i did because i think Both you and snow deserve to know. Because i love snow as a sister."

Black Hawk looked at Kyle and sighed. "I want to talk to Snow and see if what you say is correct."

Kyle Nodded and opened the door. "Follow me." he said walking to the kitchen he saw snow. "Your brother wants a word." He said sitting back down then standing up looking at hawk. "Do you want a drink ?2 He asked.

Snow looked at him. "What's wrong Black Hawk?"

Looking at Kyle he shook his head no. "Someone came to visit me today Snow. I need to know right now what is going on here. Are you engaged to Kyle, what is your relationship with him?"

Snow was shocked. "There is nothing between Kyle and I? Were on earth would you get that from? Who told you."

Black Hawk snarled. "Jasper."

Riona lay on her bed, feeling awkward and not sure about much at the moment.

Kyle Growled. "I Swear i'm going to kill him." He said sitting down again and eating again. Sighing he took a deep breath. "Listen Black hawk. I apollogise for anyconfusion." He said taking a mouthfull of his bacon.

Snow sighed and looked at her brother. "You should have known better Black Hawk."

Black Hawk sat down and looked at his sister. "I was worried about you. So Kyle where is this mate of yours?"

Kyle shrugged. "I think she's gone upstairs. So if you two don't mind i'm going to go find her." He said finishing his breakfast he stood up and put the plate in the sink before heading up to her room knocking.

Black Hawk watched him go and turned to SNow. "You love him don't you?"

SNow nodded her head sadly. "It will never be Black Hawk. SHe is better for him."

Riona opened the door and saw Kyle. "yes?"

Kyle smiled. "Hey Are you ok ? You walked away i was kinda worried." He said truthfully.

Riona looked at him. "I'm fine." SHe was really confused still over so much. All she knew, was sure of was that she felt strongly for Kyle.

Black Hawk sighed and kissed Snow's head. "I love you little sister and must return to our people. One day you will find love."

SNow nodded and watched him leave.

Kyle pulled her close to him. "You know i worry about you." he said looking down at her. "I really do."

Riona put her arms around him slowly. "I..I don't know why you worry."

Kyle held her close to him. " BBecause you seem so distant and sad. I Don't want you to be sad riona. Let me make you smile. Let me make your soul shine to everyonre else the way i see it."He smiled looking down at her.
