The Dragon's Keep

Hakan sighed. "If you wish kitten."

Kyera climbed out of bed and ached stretching she found her clothes and started dressing sighing.

Hakan watched her and slowly got off the bed, still hurting from the fight with his cousin.

Once she finshed dressing and he finished she walked over to him and wrapped her arm around him tightly. !I Love you"She said.

Trying not to wince, Hakan smiled. "We love you too kitten."

Kyera sighed. "Don't leave me again It was so scary. Being alone in the damp dark dungeon." she cried silently holding on to him.

Hakan held her tight. "I had no idea the message was not real kitten. As soo as we knew we came back as fast as we could. I even took my dragon form to fly when I could."

"I'm so glad your back hakan." she smiled up at him. "Can we please get out of this room. Its really stuffy." she laughed.

"Anything you want kitten." He took her hand and led her out of their room. "Are you hungry kitten?"

Kyera Nodded. "Starving. I could eat a whole banqueat hall." she smiled. Ater hardly eating anything for the past to months food sounded like a brillant idea.

Hakan grinned and led her to the kitchen where Rowan was making breakfast. The older woman smiled at them. "It does my heart good to see you both together. Sit, I will get you something to eat."

Kyera sat down next to hakan resting her head on his shoulder slightly. The smell of food over powered her and made her stomach rumble.

Rowan gave them both some bread, sweet meat and some ale to drink. "I'll leave you two alone."

Hakan kissed her gently. "Eat kitten."

Kyera smiled and kissed Hakan. "Thank you." She said and began eating hungrily. The food tasted so good.

Happy to see her eating, he ate slowly in case she wanted more. He was hungry but would give up his food for her.

Kyera finished eating after eating most of the food she made sure there was enough for hakan as well. Smiling she rest her head on his shoulder.

Hakan smiled, glad that she had eaten. "Tell us what else you would like to do today kitten."

"Oncesyou've finished eating .. would you mind if we go flyin ?" she asked. After being kept in a smallcramped dark place she reallt wanted to go outside intp the hopen and the thought of flying sounded perfect.

Hakan nodded. "Sure we can do that kitten." Even though he hurt like hell, he wanted nothing more than to make her happy.

Kyera frowned. "You sure. If you want we can just rest until yur better." she smiled. She didn't want her mate hurting.

Hakan smiled. "We are sure kitten." He gently titled her chin to him and kissed her.

KYera smiled and kissed him back before standing and walking out the kitchen and down the hal way.

Jared was walking down the hallway when he saw her. "Hey glad you are ok."

Hakan began to follow her. Upon seeing Jared, he growled low, his eyes flashing.

Kyera looked up at jared and sortof smiled. "Urm Thanks." she said holding on to Hakans hand.

Jared could tell Hakan was close to changing. "I mean, if I had known who he was..."

Hakan growled louder, the sound rumbling in the hallway.
