The Dragon's Keep

Hakan kissed her back and lay in the tub quietly.

Kyera Washed his back gently and cleaned him up. "You had me so worried." she mummered.

Hakan said nothing, ws trying to ignore the pain in his body.

Kyera frowned but continiued to bath him. she could see he was in pain so made him a herbal drink to numb the pain and handed it to him. "Drink baby." she smiled.

Hakan took the cup and drank.

Kyera continued to bath him gently and look after him. once she was done she took the cup from him and helped him out then dried him off before taking him to the bed. "Lay down and rest." she insisted.

Hakan nodded. It hurt like hell and he wasn't feeling right.

Kyer tucked him in Kissing him gently while she empted out the bath and callled for someone one to come take t away.

In the night Hakan tossed and turned burning up.

Kyera was watching him worried. He was Very ill. Normally people wouldn't doo this. she grabbed a flannel and lay it on his head trying to cool him down.

Snarling and muttering in his sleep, Hakan was reliving the nightmares of his childhood.

Kyera continued to try and sooth him. "shhh Hakan. Its Not real." she mummered to him

The pain, the torture, his father's anger, the baeating all coming back. Hakan thrashed more in his sleep.

Kyera took hold off him strokhing his hand she shook him lightly. "Hakan. Hakan wake up." she said.

Opening his eyes, he couldnt tell where he was. Grwoling low, not sure who anyone was.

"Hakan It Me." she said taking hold of his hand and moving closer to him she kissed his hand letting it move around her face. "Seee its mee." she said.

In the haze of the fever he called her name. Rolling his eyes back in his head, his body shook violently.

Kyera Took hold of him. "HAKAN ?" she shouted paincally. she hadn't seen this before. "JARED." she shouted out hoping someone would here her.

Jared burst into the room, followed by several men. He yelled at them to hold Hakan down until the shaking stopped. Evnetually it did and he lay there quiet on the bed. The men left. Jared turned to her. "I have only seen him like this once. He was close to dying from a battle. I don't know what is going on."

Kyera bit her lip shakking her head. She wouldn't let hakan die. summoning her books and her bag she started flicking through it. Finding what she wanted she mixed the herbs and slid them down hakans throat." this should tell us what is wrong with him. then i can know what to do to heal him." she said.

Hakan cried out, the pain in the wound throbbing horribly.

Kyera sooth him. "I know baby i know." she mummered when she saw the wound as it glowed a slight purple she cursed. "That bastard poisoned him." she said and went through her bag to find the ingredients to mix the medicine up to heal him.

Jared stood there, wonderig if Hakan would live.

Hakan began to thrash again, his body burning.

Kyera kept soothing him she handed a flannel to jared. "Keep that on his forehead it will cool him down.2 she said as she mummered some words over the herbs.

Jared did as told.

Hakan felt like he was on fire and screamed out.
