It winded down for several feet before opening up to a ledge. It looked over his kingdom. Above was the hole that allowed the sky to peer down. A small castle with a village lay in a valley. Lights were being lit as night was just falling. "This is my home. You are welcome to stay here as long as you wish Victoria."

Victoria looked around. Awed by it. Even though the kingdom she lived in was bigger aye this place was far more.. homely and comforting. Her kingdom.. was Army based now her father ruled. He wanted aliances and to keep friendly with the other kingdoms.. Especially Dantes..

"Come. You can stay in my castle until I find a family who will allow you to live with them. You have nothing to fear here." The headed down a nearby path that descended down to the village where people smiled and greeted Aidan with joy, smiles, handshakes as well as the occasional hug.

Victoria watched as the village people greeted and treated him like aperson.When ever she headed to their kingdom she got nothing but shouted at and scorned at for her fathers.. Misgivings.

Aidan led her to to his castle where he was greeted the same. His men even bowed to Victoria. He smiled as they headed up a giant staircase and down a long hall.

Victoria blushed at the men and followed him up the stair case. "Your people love you. " she said in admiration

Aidan smiled as he opened a nearby door. "You can sleep here." He smiled at the human female.

Victoria peered in smiling. It was very much like her own room. she turned to him. "Thank you Aiden. If you don't mind may i go to sleep now ?" she asked. She'd had a long day.

"Here you do what you want...come and go as you please." He smiled. "If you need anything just ask and it will be yours. I am around most times..my people can find me should you have need to speak to me. Sleep well."

Victoria nodded and smiled. "Thank you for your kindness. Its the first i have seen in many years." she said turning she closed the door and lay on the bed. Within minutes She was asleep.

Aidan was in his solarium going over some new issues his people were facing some hours ago. Food was a big one. That was why he was hunting. Winter would be coming soon and he had to have his store rooms full.

Victoria was awake and justg sitting in bed haing the peace not to worrry about anything. Not to hear her father screaming or shouting for one thing or another. After a bit she stood and headed out of her room before looking around she saw a solarium. heading towards it she knocked on the door.

Aidan looked up. "Enter." He was going over some maps and knew damn well he would have to get close to Dante's lands to get what he needed for his people.

Victoria walked in and saw him she smiled. "Hi I Was Just being Nosy. I hope thats ok. thank you for letting me stay here last night. You Didn't have to but you were kind enough to. I Really appreciate t." she smiled oing over to him.

He smiled at sat back. "You are not being nosy. And you are very welcome." A small child ran past her and jumped into Aidan's arms. "Unky, unky, "the toddler cried. Aidan smiled. "My nephew. He is here with my sister for a little while."

Victoria chuckled. She smiled down at the child. "He's So cute." she smiled up at him.

The little guy kissed Aidan and jumped off his lap and ran off. "Yeah but a regualr ball of energy. So what would you like to do today.?"
He smiled and sat back in his chair.

Victoria laughed. "Definatly a ball of energy". She lookedup at him and shrugged. "I .. Don't mind.. i don't really make the desicions " she smiled.

Aidan shook his head. "Here...women are prized above all else. Their opinions matter more than most men. So..what do you want to do Victoria?"

Victoria looked shocked at that. "Really ? Well I would like to go for a walk. If Thats ok.." she said hesitantly.

Aidan smiled. "Sure, you can do whatever you want here Victoria. My people are not like your father's or Dante's. Go, enjoy yourself."

Victoria stood up smiling. "Thank tyou aiden I'll probably see you later.2 she said turning she left and starting walking through the village looking around.

Aidan watched her go and smiled. Victoria was a pretty little thing and though she made him smile Aidan was not one to try his luck at love..not after what happened. He went back over the maps.

Victoria smiled at the villiagers and they smiled back. She liked this vilage. She walked over to a fountin and sat there leaving down she swirled her hand in the water..

Keress ran up to the fountain, his little curls bouncing and he smiled at Victoria. "Hi pretty lady." He smiled and climbed up next to her. "You like my unky?"
