The Dragon's Keep

Kyera watched him leave and closed her eyes feeling a tear go down her cheek. She had the horrible feeling she wasn't going to see him again and it killed her inside. "Come back my love." she whispered quietly.

Jared walked over to her. "Hey, he'll come back. I don't know when but he will." He hated seeing her upset.

Kyera looked up at him and nodded. "Your right. I'm just being silly. Sorry." she said quietly smiling as she wiped her eyes. "I'm going to go sit in the kitchen if you need me." she said smiling as she turned and headed back off down to the kitchen.

Jared watched her go and headed to see what needed to be done.

ERic came down to the kitchen and spotted the woman from before. "Hello."

looking up from her potion book she closed it and smild at the male from earlier. "Good day. Who are you ?" she smiled.

He bowed slightly and smiled. "I am Eric, a cousin to Lord Hakan. Who may I ask is such a beauty as you? And what are you doing, a sweet bright flower in this dank dark place?"

"A plesure to meet you eric. I'm Lord Hakan's wife Kyera." she smiled."I'm ust reading and i find this place is most peaceful. Hakan hasn't spoken of you. What are you doing here ?" she asked.

He blinked. Hakan, married? THis could work nicely. "I have been away for the king for many years and just recently returned home."

Kyera smiled. "Well Welcome back and a plesure to meet you. hakan isn't here at the moment but he should be back soon and i am sure he will be just as excited to see you as you are him." she smiled.

"Oh where did he go." AS if he didn't know. He was the one who paid the messenger. It would be a month before he rreutned.

Kyera sighed. "To fight. I fear he may not come back and it has me worried truefully." she sighed.

He grinned. "Rightfully so. I was gone for 20 years. We are at the King's mercy."

Kyera sighed closing her eyes she felt her self slump slightly. Hakan could be gone for 20 years. She could not bare to think of it.

Eric smiled inside. "Yup 20 years. THough I did not have a female to return to. Good thing since I slept with many women while I was gone. I am a man after all."

Kyera glared up at him. "Even if hakan was away for 20 years he would not sleep with one woman." she said and stood pickingup her book. "I'm going to retire to the libreary." she said and began walking out. She would not sit there and listen to his nuscience

Eric grinned. "Believe what you want. He is only a man after all."

Kyere shook her head and continued to walk out. He wasn'tonly a man. He wouldn't do that to her. Instead of going to the libreary she headed up to their room and lay in bed hiding under the covers she said something and made the sun appear. so when hakan looked up he would see she was thiking of him.

Hakan glared. There was no mission. He had seen the king who said no messenger had been sent. Scowling, it would take another month before returning to his kitten.


Eric whistled as he walked into the kitchen. One month down..time to make his moves on Hakan's female.

Kyera sat at the kitchen counter tired. She had lost weight since Hakan left and couldn't sleep well at night. The potion of blood she made still didn't sustain her enough and she felt like there was a huge hole in her heart. She was starting to doubt if Hakan would come back to her safe.

"SOmethin wrong there beautiful?" Eric walked over to her. "You should eat."

Kyera looked up and shook her head. "Nay Nothing. I'm Not hungry." she said drinking her water she sighed.

Eric sat next to her. "You should eat you know. You are wasting away. SOmeone so beautiful as you...shouldn't be pining. Ya know, most wives when their husbands are gone enjoy another man."

Kyerea moved another seat across. "I don't want another man. I Love Hakan. I Shall never betray his trust." she said.

"Look he's more than likely betraying your trust as we speak. That female who wanted him, the one who pushed you...she left with him." Eric was lying but hoped it would work.

Kyera stared at him for a moment then closed her eyes shaking her head. No. It wasn't true it wasn't. Yet she was slowly start to believe him. She stood up. "Your Wrong." she said and turned to leave.
