The Dragon's Keep

Kyera glared at him. "Hakan! Lay down and eat , your injured." she said pushing the plate futher towards him.

Bailey Nodded smiling. "I Bet she's rather excited."

He growled low. "You eat kitten." The pain was back but he was more worried about her.

Jared nodded. "I guess. I mean I know Hakan is." He sighed and took another drink.

Kyera let out her own Growl. "I will when i see your eating ok."

Bailey Nodded. "what about you ? Do you have any mate or wife or girlfrdnd ?" she asked.

Hakan growled. "Eat kitten..now."

Jared sighed. "Nope, no one for me." He smiled sadly.

Kyera just looked at him holding the plate to him.

Bailey smiled restting her hand on his shoulde.r "You will find someone Jared." she sad.

Hakan glared back. "We will not eat until you do kitten."

Jared closed his eyes. "Yeah so I keep being told Bailey."

Kyera Sat there her arms crossed stubbornly. "I will Not eat until you do hakan. I'm worried about you. your Weak. I matter Not at the moment. So eat." she said

Baiely stroked his arm genty. "You will Jared. the right females right around the corner. she is close." she smiled.

Hakan snarled and began to eat. "Now you,"he growled.

Jared stood and looked at her. "Yeah I hope. Thanks." His head hung low, he headed to the solar to get some work done.

kyera picked up a bit of meat and nibbled on it while watching him.

Bailey watched him leave then followed after him wrapping an arm around his hsoulder though she had to tip toe. "Jared ? Are you ok ? You look really sad still "

Hakan ate quietly.

Jared sighed. "Bailey.. I have been alone for so long. What Hakan has...I do not think I will ever have." Damn she felt with her arms around him.

Bailey finished eating the piece of meat and just watched him.

Bailey turned to face him , "That is Not True. You Deserve what kyera and hakan have as much as any one. "

Hakan finished and lay back down quietly.

"Because I deserve it means nothing Bailey." He sighed and rested his head on her shoulder.

Kyera watched him for a second before kissingh im sagain gently. "Rest baby." she said and pcked up the plate finishing off the food. Once she was full up she put the plate to the side and sat in the chair watching him,

Bailey wrapped her arm around him ad hugged him. "Thats not true. Your Kind and considerate and put others first females like that Jared. ... I like it." she muummered the last bit really quietly.

Hakan closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Jared smiled. He had heard what she said. Slowly he hugged her back, not wanting to frighten her. " Maybe some day."

Kyera sighed watching him biting her lip.

Bailey smiled. "Its getting late , maybe we should head up to our own rooms. "

Jared sighed. "I have much to do tonight with Hakan being hurt now Bailey. Good night." He kissed her forehead gently.

Bailey blushed looking up at im. "woul you like help ?" she asked.

Jared looked at her. "If ya want. I have to go into the store rooms and see how much food we have, then see how much bolts of cloth we have and other things."

Bailey Nodded. "Lead the way." she smiled. "Two's better than one and you'll get it done quicker." she said following him down.

Jared smiled and lead her into the kitchen, down a set of stairs to the food storage area. "You ready?"

Bailey Nodded. "You Count that side i'll count this side you count that side." she smiled

Jared nodded. "Yeah sure we can do that."

Bailey smiled and starting counting up in her head.

Jared watched her. Bailey was beautiful and Jared found himself wanting her more and more.

Bailey continued counting. Oblivious to Jared watching her.
