_Betrayed_

The men returned and there was shouts of joys. Aidan headed for his room..to tired to do much else. That feeling was still there..something was coming, something bad.

Dante and his men waited outside the cave. The would wait for nightfall to attack.

Victoria Ruffled Keress's hair and stood up seeing aiden she followed after him calling him. "Aiden." she said when he stopped and turned she ran over to him smiling. "Hey How was the trip ?." she asked smiling.

He looked around before answering her. "Good." His eyes were bloodshot and he was feeling edgy. "We..have more than enough meat to get us through the winter Victoria." Keress ran up. "Unky!"

Victoria smiled at keress then looked back at Aiden . Something was wrong. Maybe he was just tired but He looked on edge like he was expecting something to happen. "You look tired why don't you go to bed." she smiled suggesting before turning to Keress. "Wanna go for a walk ?" she asked grinning.

Aidan bent down and kissed Keress gently. "If you need me just knock on my door." Aidan headed to his room.

Kress jumped up and down.. "Es, es!"

Later that Night.

Victoria lay out in the grass looking up through the top of the moutin. If you lay just right you could still see the stars and the sky it was one of the most beautiful Things. Keress had already gone to bed but she wasn't tired and loved the peace of the silent night.

They moved in quietly before Dante yelled attack His men ran it and began to kill anyone they could find. Dante spotted Victoria and ran for her.

Aidan was woken by the cries of alarm. Wearing just his pants, he grabbed his sword and headed out to fight whoever was attacking.

Victoria looked up and stood up ony to be grabbed by a man. A very large man. She could hardly breath he was so close to her. All the agression was built up inside him. Dante. She went to scream.

Aidan made quick work of the men attacking his people. Dante, he was here. His eyes scanned the horizon. Where the hell was he. He spotted him then. "Victoria,"he yelled.

Dante heard Aidan. Snarling, he scooped Victoria up and put her over his shoulder, yelling at his men to retreat.

She heard aidens voice but before she could say anything he had her over his shoulder.Victoria Screamed hitting and kicking at dante. "Let go." she kept shouting.

Aidan tried to get to her, but Dante's men held him back. One sliced his leg with his sword but Aidan fought hard until one of them knocked him to the ground.


Dante grinned as they headed back to his kingdom "Did you think you could hide from me. You are mine female. Your father paid dearly for your indiscretion. He and his people are dead. Now, you will be my bride and bear me a son."

Victoria didn't know wheather she should be relieved or cry. her father dead. He deserved it. But the others maybe not. She kicked at dante. "I won't." she shouted at him.

***********3 days later******************

Dante had dumped her in his room and chained her to the a wall by the bed. It would enable her to move a little but not too far. There would be no way out of the room. He had plans for her. Big plans.

VIctoria Cried curled up asleep where she had been for the past three days. She waiting for what would happen next. She wanted to go back to aiden. He was so nice. The whole village. Butthey had suffered so many loses as well. she hoped Serina and keress were safe as well as aiden. He probably wouldn't come for her he had a whole kingdom to worry about. she woke up slowly and sat up tugging at the chains screaming in fustration.

Aidan's men were ready. He knew a secret enterance that led to Dante's room. He was sure Victoria was there. When darkness came, Dante and his men did what they did best...partied and got drunk. Aidan took advantage of this and headed into the secret corridor. Slowly he moved the tapestry and saw her. No one else was in the room. Aidan headed over and yanked the chains out of the wall. He grabbed her and put her over his shoulder and headed back out the castle and towards his lands.

Victoria Was in shock for a moment when he'd come to get her. He'd really come to get her. This could all just be a dream though. She Held onto him fast nuzzlingher head into his shoulder. "I-" she began to say the moment before she heard shouting from behind them. she looked up and saw him. Dante. she gripped tighter to aiden in fear they'd get her again. The chains had Jingled as they tried to make the not so quiet escape. "I'm sorry i got you into this mess." she said quiety as he continued to take her back.

Dante tried to get his men to move but they were too drunk. He would get her back one way or another.

Aidan said nothing about it. "My people have moved to another site that Dante does not know of. It will take several days to get there. You sleep and worry about nothing Victoria."

Victoria relaxed slightly nuzzling into his shoulder. Truth be told she hadn't had much sleep or anything else like food or water forthyat maate.r she closed her eyes. "Thank you aiden." were the last words she mummered before she fell into a deep sleep.

After several hours, Aidan stopped and rested with her in a nearby cave. If Dante had hurt her in any way he would kill the bastard. Laying her down, he watched her sleep.

Victoria woke up some time later when it was dark. she'd slept through the whole day. Sitting up slightly she looked around. It was dark. Pitch black dark. she moved and the chains around her rattled. she thought she was still with dante.

Aidan heard her. "Victoria." He reached for her in the dark. "You ok?"

Victoria turned towards the voice and let out a sigh of relief. "Aiden ? Oh thank god i'm not dreaming." she said as she felt him touch her she reached for his hand frowning. "where are we ?" she asked.

"We are in a cave. We must stay here until tomorrow night. Then we can move again. It will take several days to get to my people's new lands." He took her hand in his. "Did..did he hurt you?"

Victoria shock her head. "No he just scared me." She said sitting up slightly she ran a hand through her hair while she kept hold of aidens hand. He'd Scared her alot. But it felt like he'd had plans for her soon. She was so relieved he'd got to her when he did. "Are you ok ? Is Keress ? Is serina ?" she asked worried.

Aidan held her hand gently. "They are fine. Though some of my people were not as lucky. ". He was glad she could not see the pain in his eyes. "But tomorrow night we will beging the long trek back to my new lands."
Nicolle Payne: Victoria nodded letitng out a slight sigh of relief. "I'm Sorry about the your people." She said looking at him.
Dawn Wright: Aidan sighed."It happens Victoria. It is part of the war I have been involved in with Dante for eons.". He enjoyed holding her hand
Nicolle Payne: Victoria sighed and closed her eyes for a moment before opening them again. "Do you have anything to drink ? Or eat ? I haven't eaten much since.." she said bitting her lip.
Dawn Wright: "I do but you need to let go of my hand so I can get it. I won't be far." He had stayed here the night before and stashed his supplied while he went for her.
Nicolle Payne: Victoria blushed and reluctantly let go. "sorry " she muttered before leaning backagainst the wall.
Dawn Wright: Aidan walked to the back of the cave but kept his eye on her. Grabbing his pack, he headed back to her. "Listen. I am going to light the cave a little. ". Taking a deep breath, he muttered something and a light illuminated the cave.
